Day 1: Forget about organizing rental cars or reading maps. We’ll pick you up directly from your Chiang Mai hotel between 08:00–08:30 am. Your first stop is the famous Doi Inthanon National Park, home to Thailand’s tallest peak. Enjoy cool mountain air, explore the beautiful King and Queen Pagoda, and take in sweeping panoramic views.
Next, feel the mist at Wachiratarn Waterfall, a powerful cascade perfect for photos. After a delicious Thai lunch, visit Obluang National Park, with its dramatic river gorge and historic walking trail.
As evening falls, arrive at Maesariang, a quiet town on the Salween River. Check in at River House Resort, enjoy dinner, and relax for the night.
Day 2: On Day 2, after a hearty breakfast, head to Kaew Komol Cave, where crystal-white walls glisten like snow. It’s a unique sight rarely found elsewhere.
If you’re traveling between late November and mid-December, the golden Mexican Sunflower Fields at Doi Mae U-Khor will take your breath away.
Enjoy a local lunch before heading to Ban Huay Pu Keng, a Karen Long Neck village where you’ll meet locals and learn about their unique way of life.
In the late afternoon, visit Wat Jong Kham and Wat Jong Klang, twin temples reflecting beautifully in the waters of Jong Kham Lake.
