Doi Pui 2 Day Trek: A Cultural Ascent Through Forest and Time

Follow ancient trails through orchid-lined forests and villages shaped by Karen wisdom and mountain winds.

Tour Overview

The Doi Pui 2 Day Trek is more than a hike—it’s a poetic passage into the soul of Mae Hong Son Thailand, where nature and tradition are one. Across two enriching days, this trek weaves through emerald hills, quiet forests, and the heart of a White Karen village nestled far from modern rush. It’s a journey that stirs the spirit and honors the land.

Day 1 begins with a mountain road leading to the Doi San Fah viewpoint, a window to the Mae Hong Son valley’s timeless expanse. In Ban Nam Hoo Hai Jai, the trek begins with a stroll through still-living traditions. From there, 3.5–4 hours of trekking unveil rotational farms, conserved forests, and hushed woodland paths, culminating in Ban Huay Hee—a Karen village untouched by haste. With your host family, you’ll dine, rest, and walk among cultural rhythms older than memory.

Day 2 is an ascent—physical and soulful. The path to Doi Pui (1,722m) winds past orchids, rainforests, and a poignant relic: a WWII aircraft wreckage. It’s a 2.5–3 hour climb into cool mountain air, then a peaceful descent through Doi Saju and the ancestral farmlands. You’ll return to Muang Mae Hong Son not just with footprints left behind, but with a trail of stories carried forward.

Let your footsteps echo through heritage trails—book your Doi Pui trek and walk a journey of meaning.
